Carousel Circus

Lichfield 5/5/12

What’s ours is yours and whatever is left isn’t worth shaking…

The Back Room became everybody’s front room as the Circus returned to the cosy surroundings of George IV last Saturday night. I know it was the most entertaining gig I’ve been to see for a while. We look forward to seeing everyone there again in the near future. Now, where did I leave those maracas?

The Life and Times of the Old Brown Boot

Me thinks frontman Gould and pianist Frankie should pull this one out of the bag at the George IV gig in Lichfield (5th May 2012), who agrees?

CAROUSEL CIRCUS SUPPORTING JUAN ZELADA

The guys and gal are all set to perform alongside Universal Records’ Juan Zelada next Sunday night at the Yard Bird in Birmingham. Rumour has it they MAY have a new song or two to unveil and that they will DEFINITELY be accepting drinks from adoring fans, friends and strangers.

So come on down folks and shake your tail feathers along to the MIGHTY Circus and Juan Zelada!!!

Muthers + Hobgoblin Music = Success

… a simple formula however Carousel Circus would like to thank the team at Muthers studio for all their help in the recording of the latest E.P. We highly recommend the venue for any artists whether they are looking to record material or even just hone their craft in many of the rehearsal spaces provided.

Special thanks to engineer Dave McCabe. His experience as a musician, his knowledge of sound engineering and patience at the desk put us all at ease, ensuring we got the best takes we needed.

The band would also like to extend their gratitude to Mark McCabe (there’s something in the name) and the staff at Hobgoblin Music in Birmingham. Dandelions and Fairies wouldn’t have blossomed without their backing.

Carousel Circus Hits ze Studio

Carousel Circus hit the studio on Sunday to record a live demo. This will be the first time each of the six members have stepped into a studio together. Will there be temper tantrums, diva fits, will the magic happen or will Gould’s ass explode killing all six members and the sound engineer inside?!?! Find out next week on THE CAROUSEL CIRCUS SHOW!!!
